This morning Scott and I headed out to see an early morning showing of 500 Days of Summer and as we sat in the car and discussed what a beautiful day it was we changed our minds and decided to take the dogs out on a nice long walk. We have never ventured very far with Sparky because of her unfit condition and bad knee however, we have been taking her out regularly for about three months now and figured she could handle it.
In the picture above Scott and I were trying to get the dogs to pose but they did not want to stop. I had to buy Millie the harness she is wearing because she was always pulling so hard she would choke herself.
Half way through the walk we had to make Sparky go down into a creek for a drink of water. She enjoyed her walk so much, she has never been so excited.
Sparky still looks good at the end of the walk.
