Spring has arrived full force

Spring showed up a little late this year, but it has arrived and was so worth the wait.  The past week temperatures between 65 and 78 degrees everyday!  Trees are finally beginning to bloom and the air is refreshing, it has that mountain fresh smell (if you have ever been in the mountains on a nice summer day, you know what I am talking about).
Today I sat in the backyard and watched the dogs play (I could not even bribe them to come back into the house, so I joined them).  I relaxed breathing in the fresh air, getting some sun on my so white skin, allowing my stress to float away with the nice breeze.

How Sweet!!

Currently in our class we are researching careers and one of my students wants to become a pastry chef because she loves baking.  She is always bringing me yummy treats so I am worried I will never loose those few pounds before summer.  This week she brought me homemade biscuits and jam.  The biscuits never made it home, but this morning I used her strawberry jam to sweeten my toast at breakfast.  I am really going to miss these kids!  Only two weeks and I am done with my Master's degree program.  I promised to return for sixth grade graduation.
